Install or replace roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
Complete other related tasks as assigned by the Site foreman.
The employment will be seasonal and last up to 6 months.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
2-3 years renovation and building experience or equivalent training
Good knowledge of the English language.
Technical Requirements. Should be proficient in 60% of all the below skills
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
Install or replace roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
Framing installation/repair, drywall installation/repair
Painting and finishes - cleaning, sanding, priming, painting, textured surfaces
Repair and installation of flooring, tile, countertops, cabinets, and doors.
Plumbing - basic plumbing, installation and repair of toilets, sinks, faucets, valves
Electrical – basic installation and troubleshooting of light fixtures, switches, and receptacles
Non-Technical Requirements:
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with other team members in a team environment
Displays a high level of initiative and commitment to excellence
Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm
Ability to spend up to eight hours of physical work, such as walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting.
