Job description:At Epiroc, we are shaping the future of manufacturing through digital transformation and Industry 4.0. As our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) journey accelerates, we are now strengthening our internal capabilities to support a long-term global rollout across more than 28 sites.
We are now looking for an MES Developer to join our growing team in Örebro and play a key part in building scalable, high-performance manufacturing solutions.
Your Mission
As an MES Developer, your mission is to design, configure, and deploy robust TrakSYS solutions that digitize our factory floor and enable data-driven manufacturing. You will translate complex manufacturing requirements into functional solutions, ensuring real-time visibility, operational efficiency, and seamless integration between shop floor and enterprise systems.
Key responsibilities: 
Design and configure TrakSYS solutions, including Journals, Forms, Task Management, and event-based logic
Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, and triggers
Build user-friendly dashboards using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Integrate TrakSYS with PLC/SCADA systems (via OPC) and enterprise systems such as ERP and PLM
Translate manufacturing needs into scalable system designs supporting OEE, quality, and traceability
Work within an Agile/Scrum setup, contributing to user stories, estimations, and code reviews
Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and scalability
Contribute to development, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities

Other requirements
3-5 years of experience working with MES systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Server and T-
Experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
Understanding of OPC UA/DA, MQTT, and integration with PLC systems
Experience integrating MES with ERP/PLM systems
Background in manufacturing operations and processes
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Your mission
As a Planning Data & Analytics Lead, you will support and guide the use of data-driven insights, performance analysis and automation within Supply Chain Planning. You will act as an important link between data, systems and business needs—helping ensure that planning decisions are supported by clear, structured and actionable insights.
 
You will contribute to strengthening how planning data is accessed, structured and used, while enabling more efficient, scalable and aligned ways of working across the organization.
 
Main responsibilities include:
Analyze planning performance across planning applications, ERP and other data sources to understand outcomes and identify key drivers
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support informed decision-making and prioritization
Improve how planning data is accessed and applied across the organization
Support the automation of manual data extraction and analysis processes
Contribute to establishing standardized and effective approaches to data-driven analysis
Explore and apply relevant technologies to enhance analytical capabilities and scalability
Collaborate closely with Planning, IT and BI teams to ensure data availability and shared understanding of insights

Hands-on experience with analytical tools and technologies (e.g. , Python or similar)
Familiarity with modern data platforms or analytical environments (e.g. Databricks, Azure or similar)
Ability to work cross-functionally and connect data with business context
Experience working in global organizations and contributing to improvement or change initiatives

 
A university degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field – or equivalent experience – is expected. Fluent English is required; additional languages are considered an advantage.

This role is based in Örebro (Sweden), however, other Epiroc locations may also be considered. Occasional travel may be required.

Lead a global team of data engineers and architects.
